In its short four-year history, the Skip Viragh Memorial Golf Classic (with generous matching contributions from the Viragh Family Foundation) has raised an unprecedented $850,000 to benefit the pancreatic cancer research efforts of scientists at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. With your continued generosity, we hope to raise the amazing total in 2008 to $1 million.
The Skip Viragh Memorial Golf Classic has earned a reputation as a fun-filled event that is held at superb private facilities. Golfers enjoy lunch, dinner, a silent auction, as well as a day of golf at one of Washington’s premier golf clubs.
The fifth annual Skip Viragh Memorial Golf Classic will be held at the prestigious Golf Club at Lansdowne in Lansdowne, Virginia on Monday, June 9, 2008.
